NOFA Winter Sessions 2018: York

  • Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall Department of Music, University of York York United Kingdom (map)

Over the course of two weekends, the 100 young musicians from the National Orchestra for All split into two for our Winter Sessions - two days of collective composition, improvisation and creation of new music. As part of the 2018-2019 season WordPlay exploring the connections between music and language, our Winter Sessions will see our young musicians create brand new work inspired by the rhythm, pitch, tone and intonation of their own speech.

Join us on Sunday at 4pm for an informal performance to see what our young musicians have created!
